Where To Address Questions About the Protection of Human Subjects in Research

The Protection of Human Subjects in Research Coordinator is available to answer your questions about the Department of Education's regulations for the protection of human subjects in research activities supported by the Department through grants or contracts. When calling or writing, please specify the nature of the inquiry (e.g., general guidance on policy, assurances of compliance, Institutional Review Board certifications, allegations of noncompliance) and the nature of the research activity (e.g., a conventional single project at a single site, collaborative multi-site research, or otherwise).
