Secretary Cardona to Visit Iowa to Discuss Rural Education and Teacher Pipeline Programs

Tomorrow, Dec. 7, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will travel to Des Moines, Iowa, where he will tour Perry Elementary, a recent winner of the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence program, and then participate in a roundtable discussion on the importance of teacher apprenticeship and pipeline programs.

Afterwards, Secretary Cardona will participate in a roundtable discussion at Des Moines Area Community College with students pursuing careers in education.
