Nearly 300 National Blue Ribbon Schools to be Honored

On Friday, Nov. 4, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Cindy Marten will honor representatives from nearly 300 National Blue Ribbon Schools at ceremonies at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Deputy Secretary Martin will deliver the awards luncheon address, followed by representatives from the winning schools receiving their Blue Ribbon plaques and flags.

This year, 297 schools were announced as 2022 National Blue Ribbon Schools. Recognition is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.
