The Department today announced $65.4 million in 12 new Magnet Schools Assistance Program awards and $1.7 million for two new awards under the Fostering Diverse Schools Demonstration Grant Program.

Equity Assistance Centers (EACs) are funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide technical assistance and training in the areas of race, sex, national origin, and religion to public school districts and other responsible governmental agencies.
