U.S. Secretary of Education to Release National Education Technology Plan at State Educational Technology Directors Association Forum

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will give keynote remarks and release the National Education Technology Plan at the State Educational Technology Directors Association Education Forum Tuesday, Nov. 9 at the Gaylord National Hotel in National Harbor, Md. The plan, entitled "Transforming American Education: Learning Powered by Technology," provides details on how the administration plans to improve the opportunity for the nation's learners to obtain a 21st century education by using technology to transform teaching and learning.

The State Educational Technology Directors Association is a non-profit, national member association that serves, supports and represents the interests of the educational technology leadership of state education agencies in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, American Samoa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
