U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to Highlight Harper College's Unique Apprenticeship Program

U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos will travel to Harper College in Palatine, Illinois, on Thursday, October 18 to observe its unique, flexible apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job learning experience with job-related instruction.

While at Harper College, the Secretary will learn more about the school’s partnerships with local employers that help to expand the community's pool of qualified workers while providing students a no-cost education and employment upon graduation.

She also will have the opportunity to hear directly from students and financial aid administrators about their experiences using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) mobile app, myStudentAid.
