WASHINGTON - As U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos continues to highlight the importance of STEM education, she will travel to Detroit, Michigan tomorrow April 27, for the FIRST Championship, an international robotics competition that gives students real-world engineering experience. During the visit, Secretary DeVos will meet with students and observe their participation in FIRST Lego League Junior (grades K-4), FIRST Lego League (grades 4-8) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (grades 9-12).
