WASHINGTON - U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos will provide keynote remarks at the Council of Chief State School Officers 2018 Legislative Conference on Monday, March 5. The Secretary’s address will challenge state leaders to embrace the flexibility afforded them by the Every Students Succeeds Act and to innovate on behalf of their students. Secretary DeVos will also meet privately with state chiefs for a roundtable discussion on school safety policies following the recent tragedy in Parkland, Florida. A press availability with the Secretary and state chiefs will take place following the roundtable.
