Secretary DeVos to Celebrate CTE Month with Career and Technical Education Leaders in Virginia

U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos will join the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) for its annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month site visit on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, in Leesburg, Virginia.

The Secretary will visit the Academies of Loudoun to see first-hand the unique career and technical education courses offered to students and to learn more about what Loudoun County Public Schools is doing to rethink and prioritize CTE.

During the visit, she will participate in a roundtable with Career and Technical Education teachers, students and association partners, followed by a tour of the Radiology Technology Lab, the Makerspace and the Research Greenhouse.
