Secretary Cardona to travel to Montana, Deliver Commencement Address at Salish Kootenai College, Discuss Native Language and Culture Preservation with Students

On Saturday, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will travel to Montana to deliver the commencement address at Salish Kootenai College. The Secretary will participate in a conversation with students focused on the school's Tribal Historic Preservation program and preserving Native languages. They will also discuss how pandemic relief funds have been used to design and deliver a culturally responsive education. Additionally, Secretary Cardona will meet with Tribal leadership.
