Secretary Cardona to Join City of Meriden for a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 Attacks

The City of Meriden will be holding a 9/11 Ceremony outside of City Hall Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks. Secretary Cardona will give brief remarks during the ceremony. This year is the 20th Anniversary of the tragic terror attacks that took the lives of 2,977 men, women and children in New York City, Arlington, Virginia, and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The City of Meriden is inviting residents and community members to join in remembering the lives that were taken and all who were affected by Sept. 11th.
