Following the launch of the "Return to School Roadmap," on Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona will travel to Baltimore, Maryland, where he will deliver remarks and address the nation to discuss the "Return to School Roadmap," a resource to support students, schools, educators, and communities as they prepare to return to safe, healthy in-person learning this fall. Secretary Cardona will also discuss the historic proposals in President Biden's Build Back Better agenda that will invest in our nation's students and schools, and allow us to emerge from the pandemic stronger than before.

Prior to delivering remarks, the Secretary will tour a summer enrichment program at Graceland Park-O'Donnell Heights Elementary Middle School. This summer program is the Summer Arts & Learning Academy (SALA), led in partnership with City Schools and Young Audiences, focusing on English learners.
