Federal Commission on School Safety to Host Public Listening Session

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, June 6, the Federal Commission on School Safety (FCSS) will host a public Listening Session at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Building (U.S. Department of Education Headquarters). The open public forum will be divided into two sessions – a morning session (9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) and an afternoon session (1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.). The Listening Session will focus on gathering information from stakeholders, experts and the public on how schools, districts, institutions of higher education and other local and state government agencies can improve school safety.
