Assistant Education Secretary to Highlight Role of Technical and Career Training in Rebuilding Ohio Economy

Brenda Dann-Messier, assistant secretary for Adult and Vocational Education, will discuss the key role that career training plays within the Department’s agenda and how education can help to rebuild the economy during remarks at the Ohio Department of Education’s Economic-Education Summit on Wednesday, March 7 at 12:30 p.m.
The fifth annual summit will bring together business leaders and education officials to discuss how these partnerships can help improve the local economy and strengthen the workforce. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.
