Supporting Effective Educator Development Grant Program

SEED increases the number of highly effective educators by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Teacher Quality Partnership Program

TQP improves student achievement and improves the quality of prospective and new teachers by improving the preparation of prospective teachers.

Teacher and School Leader Incentive Program

TSL program supports entities in implementing, improving, or expanding their overall Human Capital Management System (HCMS).

Augustus F. Hawkins Center of Excellence (Hawkins) Program

Supports high-quality State-accredited teacher preparation programs by creating centers of excellence at HBCUs, TCUs, MSIs, and HSIs.

National Professional Development Program

Supports the implementation of professional development activities to improve instruction for English Learners (ELs).

Funds for future educators

The TEACH Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 a year to students who are completing or plan to complete course work needed to begin a career in teaching.
