The purpose of Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Centers is to provide competitive grants, including cooperative agreements, to, or enter into contracts with, eligible entities to expand and improve the provision of vocational rehabilitation (VR) and other services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Rehabilitation Act) or to further the purposes and policies in sections 2(b) and (c) of the Rehabilitation Act by supporting activities that increase the provision and extend availability, scope, and quality of rehabilitation services under the Act.

Technical Assistance Center for IL-OIB Recipients (OIB-TAC)

Provides training and TA to State agencies that provide vocational rehabilitation services to individuals who receive IL-OIB funding (ALN: 84.177Z).

American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Training & TA Center

The AIVRTTAC provides technical assistance to governing bodies of Indian Tribes that administer an AIVRS project (ALN: 84.250Z).

National Vocational Rehabilitation TA Center (NVRTAC)

The NVRTAC provides TA to State VR agencies to improve their services for individuals with disabilities (ALN: 84.264L).

National TA Center on Transition for Students with Disabilities

The NTACT:C assists SEAs, LEAs, State VR agencies and others to use evidence-based practices to support students with disabilities (ALN: 84.326E).
