IDEA Data Management Center (84.373M)

The Technical Assistance on State Data Collection grant program provides support to State agencies to collect, report, analyze, and use data on infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities. The purpose of the program is to improve the capacity of States to meet IDEA data collection and reporting requirements, including those required under sections 1416 and 1418 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

The IDEA Data Management Center (Data Management Center) will assist States in collecting, reporting, and determining how to best analyze and use their Part B and Part C data to establish and meet high expectations for each child with a disability by enhancing, streamlining, and integrating IDEA Part B data into their State longitudinal data systems (SLDS), and IDEA Part C data and IDEA Part B preschool special education data into their early childhood integrated data system (ECIDS) while ensuring applicable IDEA and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) privacy protections are met.

Estimated Total Program Funding: $2,700,000

Award Ceiling: $2,700,000 for a single budget period of 12 months.
