This is a compilation of recent grant award letters for Part B and Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). These funds, awarded under the IDEA, are appropriated by Congress and are intended to support early intervention and special education services for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities and their families.

Part B Formula Grants

Part B formula grants assist states in providing a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment for children with disabilities, ages three through 21.

• Grants to States program. 
  Authorized by Part B, Section 611 for children ages three through 21.
• Preschool Grants program. 
  Authorized by Part B, Section 619 for children ages three through five.

Part C Formula Grants

Part C formula grants support early intervention services for infants and toddlers.

• Grants for Infants and Families program. 
  Authorized by Part C for infants and toddlers, ages birth through two, and their families.
