EDFacts Business Rules Single Inventory
The EDFacts Business Rules Single Inventory (BRSI) is a single inventory for State Education Agencies (SEAs) that contains data quality (DQ) business rules applied to EDFacts data. The inventory will increase transparency in the DQ review processes and provide SEAs with the opportunity to check data prior to submission.
The BRSI includes two documents: (1) EDFacts Business Rules Single Inventory User Guide, providing an overview of the BRSI, detailing the new layout of the BRSI spreadsheet, examples of “good” data notes, and commonly used filters; (2) the EDFacts Business Rules Single Inventory Excel spreadsheet, describing each EDPass business rule, legacy business rule(s) associated, and classification of each rule.
