The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights will hold a community meeting Monday, Sept. 26 at Temple College in Temple, Texas, regarding discipline in elementary and secondary schools and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the bases of race, color, and national origin.
