Guam to Receive More Than $24 Million in Additional Recovery Funds

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that an additional $24,995,119 is now available for Guam under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. To date, Guam has received $122,450,229 through the ARRA.

Arizona, Guam, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Utah to Receive Funds to Support Education Jobs

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that Arizona will receive $211.8 million, Guam will receive $20 million, New Hampshire will receive $40.9 million, North Carolina will receive $298 million, Pennsylvania will receive $387.8 million, and Utah will receive $101 million to support education jobs.

Nearly $83 Million in Recovery Funds Now Available for Guam to Save Jobs and Drive Reform

U. S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that $82,988,018 is now available for Guam under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This funding will lay the foundation for a generation of education reform and help save teaching jobs at risk of state and local budget cuts. Guam will be eligible to apply for another $25 million this fall.
