U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that Arizona will receive $211.8 million, Guam will receive $20 million, New Hampshire will receive $40.9 million, North Carolina will receive $298 million, Pennsylvania will receive $387.8 million, and Utah will receive $101 million to support education jobs.

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced that Arizona will receive nearly $70 million to turn around its persistently lowest achieving schools through the School Improvement Grants (SIG) program. These funds are part of the $3.5 billion that will be made available to states this spring from money set aside in the 2009 budget and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
