Cyber safety is a shared responsibility of students, families (children, youth, parents, and guardians), and school personnel.

The Educational Technology, Media, and Materials program is the primary source of support for accessible technology and media-related activities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

The purpose of this program is to makes competitive awards to provide technical assistance, support model demonstration projects, disseminate useful information, and implement activities that are supported by scientific research.

This program helps states meet state-identified needs for adequate numbers of fully-certified personnel to serve children with disabilities by supporting competitive awards.

Native Youth Community Projects (NYCP), Accessing Choices in Education (ACE), and the Native American Teacher Retention Initiative (NATRI) grant programs, as managed by the Office of Indian Education (OIE).

The purpose of the SFEC program is to provide technical assistance and training to SEAs and LEAs in the implementation and enhancement of systemic and effective family engagement policies, programs, and activities.
