On December 3-4, the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans in partnership with Discovery Education will host Power Up-Nevada at the College of Southern Nevada. The opening remarks on Dec. 4 will be open to press.  

Power Up is a series of in-person and virtual engagements that serve as critical touchpoints to directly engage the community, discuss best and promising practices, and share information about local and federal resources that advance educational and economic opportunities for Black Americans.
