On Thursday, Oct. 3, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, along with U.S. Rep. Darren Soto, will travel to Orlando, Florida, to tour NeoCity Academy and talk to students and faculty about STEM and career and technical education programs in K-12. Afterwards, Secretary Cardona and Rep. Soto will participate in a press gaggle. 

The U.S. Department of Education is proud to support student pathways to success by prioritizing career pathway programs that enable access to careers in high demand fields. The Department continues its work to align its K-12, higher education, and workforce systems to ensure a sustainable and skilled workforce that the American economy needs. In addition, this work will help to expand and create new opportunities for all students to engage in innovative and equitable pathways that propel them to rewarding futures.
