Today, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Cindy Marten continues her “ARPstars” tour and travels to Columbus, Ohio to visit with community leaders and educators to highlight American Rescue Plan investments helping students recover.

The Deputy Secretary will tour summer programming for 5-12 year-olds that promotes development of life skills and self-esteem in partnership with Ohio State University, at the Linden Community Center. She will remain there for a panel discussion with educators and community leaders about ARP investments, including those impacting K-12 schools through Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER), and The Columbus Promise, an initiative that provides college funding for Columbus City Schools graduates. Time permitting, the Deputy Secretary will take a few questions following the panel.
