On Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET, Secretary Cardona will participate in an open press roundtable with students, educators, and school administrative staff who would be eligible for a pathway to citizenship under the Dream and Promise Act, including DACA recipients, TPS Holders, and Dreamers without DACA who would benefit from the permanent protections from the legislation. During the roundtable, Secretary Cardona and participants will also discuss the importance of bringing students back to the classroom for in-person learning and the effect the pandemic has had on students, educators, and school staff over the past year.
