Tour Stops in Texas:
On September 9, U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon visited Austin, Texas on her Returning Education to the States Tour. Secretary McMahon toured Alpha School, a private K-8th grade school which utilizes artificial intelligence to tailor education to each student's needs, and joined school leadership for a roundtable discussion on AI and innovation. Secretary McMahon later visited the University of Austin where she met with University President Carlos Carvalho for a discussion about the University’s approach to fostering innovation.
