On September 23, U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon visited Cleveland. The Secretary attended an official ribbon-cutting of the Experiential Robotics Platform in Cleveland Metro Schools, a groundbreaking initiative preparing Ohio students for the future of work shapes by artificial intelligence and automation.
Columbus, Ohio
On September 24, Secretary McMahon visited Columbus, Ohio accompanied by U.S. Senators Jon Husted and Bernie Moreno. The Secretary participated in a Science of Reading Training with the Ohio Department of Education, met with state legislators, and celebrated the Department’s Charter School Program expansion. The Secretary also toured The Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College, and Columbus Classical Academy.
