Murray Bessette was the Director of Academic Programs at the Alexander Hamilton Society and Senior Vice President of Education at the Common Sense Society, where he was responsible for its international fellowship programs and K-12 civics initiatives. He received his Ph.D. and master’s from Claremont Graduate University, as well as an executive certificate in counter-terrorism studies from the International Institute for Counterterrorism at Reichman University (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel.
