Grantee Satisfaction Survey

The 2024 Grantee Satisfaction Survey is available for review.

In response to the President's Executive Order 13571, Streamlining Service Delivery and Improving Customer Service, the U. S. Department of Education annually surveys grant recipients representing it's largest and most impactful grant programs. A total of 71 grant programs participated in the FY 2024 Grantee Satisfaction Survey for the U.S. Department of Education. The survey uses the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) which is the national indicator of customer evaluations of the quality of goods and services and the only uniform benchmarking measure of customer satisfaction across federal agencies and private industry. The ACSI is a weighted average of questions that measure overall satisfaction, satisfaction compared to expectations, and satisfaction compared to an ideal organization. Additionally, each participating program office surveys their grant recipients on the clarity and organization of documents, staff knowledge, technical assistance, grant performance reporting requirements and other areas important to customer satisfaction.
