Scheduling Requests for the U.S. Secretary of Education

Thank you for contacting the U.S. Department of Education. For scheduling requests for the Secretary, please follow the steps below:

  1. Review and fully complete the Scheduling Request Form. PDF (280K)

Kindly provide the Scheduling Request Form at least five weeks before your event.

Be sure to include any corresponding attachments (such as a letter of invitation or other materials).

  1. Attach your materials to an email and send to: InvitetheSecretary@ed.gov. You may also print and mail hard copies of your request and attachments to:

Please note that invitations sent via postal mail will take longer to process.

A representative of the U.S. Department of Education will review your materials and contact you about the status of your request. If your request is accepted, additional members of the team will be in contact about the logistics of the event, the format of the Secretary's participation, and the content of the Secretary's messaging.

Please note that incomplete forms will not be processed and could result in delayed responses.
