Immediate Office of the Assistant Secretary
Represents and advises the Secretary on all inter- and intra-agency administrative matters.
Executive Office
Coordinates all procurement activities, processes accounts payable for purchase and delivery orders, and formulates administrative budgets.
Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU)
Implements the functions and duties in Sections 8, 15, 31, 36, and 44 of the Small Business Act as amended.
The Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA)
OHA provides independent forums for the resolution of disputes involving ED and recipients of federal education funds.

Responsible for processing, reconciling, evaluating, and reporting all agency financial transactions.

Provides oversight of ED's grant award and administration process to ensure consistency and accountability and promote effectiveness.
