Rule 12. Abbreviations are counted as words, and must be read correctly within the context of the sentence..

example
Dr. Adams received a promotion.WRC = 5
should be read as:
"Doctor Adams received a promotion."WRC = 5
not as:
"D-R Adams received a promotion."WRC = 4
