This slide is a bar graph comparing the knowledge and approaches of Chinese and American teachers when attempting to solve a division problem that involved fractions. 41% of the American teachers and 91% of the Chinese teachers were able to solve the problem. 0% of the American teachers and 32% of the Chinese teachers were able to solve the problem in more than one way. About 4% of the American teachers and 85% of the Chinese teachers were able to create a story problem that fit the fraction problem.
