It shows the concepts and their relationship to each other. The center column, which lists the core concepts is comprised of "Subtraction of large Numbers with Regrouping," which rests on "Subtraction of Two-Digit Numbers with Regrouping," which rests on "Subtraction of Two-Digit Numbers without Regrouping," which rests on "Subtraction within 20," which rests on "Subtraction within 10." Outside this central core are related concepts such as "Understanding of Place Value."
