Summary Organizer

Explanation of slide: This slide shows a possible graphic organizer that students could use to record essential words and ideas they may want to use when writing a summary of a narrative story. This graphic organizer is completed during the reading of the text and it allows students to stay focused on what information they will need for their summary. It also gives students a place to record key words they may want to use in their summary.
