Problem Solving
This graphic shows eight problem solving strategies. They are:
- Draw a picture or diagram, or make a model
- Solve a simpler related problem
- Look for patterns
- Work backwards from where you want to end up
- Make a table, chart, or organized list
- Guess, estimate, check and revise
- Eliminate possibilities
- Break it down into subordinate problems
