Speaker's notes: To this point I hope I have convinced you of the need to work with patterns, and push what we do, with our students. Today I'm going to focus primarily on number patterns. So, let's start by looking at four number patterns. On the sheet answer the three questions for each of the four patterns. I hope you can see how the series of questions leads students to generalize.
