Not Poor:
35% scored Prof/Adv
41% scored Basic
24% scored Below Basic

Explanation of slide: Shows a comparison of NAEP 8th grade 2002 math scores by family income. Students from poor families scored 58% below basic, 34% basic, 10% proficient or advanced; while children from non-poor families scored 24% below basic, 41% basic; and 35% proficient or advanced.
