Speaker's notes: Transcript studies demonstrate that far too few of our nation's students have adequate preparation in math and science. Many would consider 4 courses, Algebra II/Biology/Chemistry/Physics, as minimal preparation. This slide shows that only about 30% of high school graduates take such a sequence.
