Nebraska Post-employment Services: Employment Warranty

Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation (NVR) agency staff provide follow-up contacts to consumers who have become employed. These contacts are made 90 days, 180 days, and one year after the individual has become employed. NVR's philosophy is that it is important to maintain contact with consumers so that intervention can occur quickly should the individual require services to maintain employment. If short-term services are needed, the consumer receives post-employment services. If long-term or more complex services are needed, then the consumer's case is reopened.
