HONOR WHAT WE KNOW - VOICES FROM THE NATIONAL TEACHER FORUM

The U.S. Department of Education invited 119 exceptional public and private school teachers to Washington for two days in November 1993. We wanted to hear their thoughts about how the federal government can work better with teachers and others to reach the National Education Goals.

The Department heard many good ideas during that two-day "GOALS 2000 Teacher Forum," as it was called. These documents are a report on what we heard.
