The Quality of Vocational Education, June 1998Adam Gamoran is professor of sociology and educational policy studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also serves as a principal investigator at the Center on Organization and Restructuring of Schools, and at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education. His research examines stratification and resource allocation in school systems.
James A. Kulik is research scientist at the University of Michigan's Center for Research on Learning and Teaching. As director of the Center's office on evaluation and examinations, he conducts university-wide programs of teacher evaluation and student testing, and also conducts research on educational issues. His major interest in recent years has been the quantitative integration of research findings in education.
Richard L. Lynch is director of the School of Leadership and Lifelong Learning and Professor of Occupational Studies at the University of Georgia. He was formerly professor of vocational and technical education and site director for the National Center for Research in Vocational Education at Virginia Tech. Lynch's research examines vocational teacher education within a context of workforce education and teacher education reform.
Kenneth A. Rasinski is senior survey methodologist at the National Opinion Research Center, and adjunct professor of educational research at National-Louis University. He has conducted research in the areas of survey methodology, political values, and educational policy.
Steven Pedlow is a Ph.D. candidate in statistics at the University of Chicago and a research analyst at the National Opinion Research Center. He is conducting his dissertation research on multiple imputation strategies.
