This section profiles 12 schoolwide Chapter 1 projects, each suggesting different approaches to improving educational services for students in high-poverty schools. The projects have been selected for their innovation and for the initial successes they have achieved. These profiles present projects in progress, not polished or finished models. Instead, they reflect 12 ways to envision a future Title I--one that supports high-quality education and a consistent standard of educational excellence for all.
