This guide for community partners working to promote children's reading was developed by the Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTAC) as a project of the Corporation for National Service (CNS); the U.S. Department of Education; and the Child Care Bureau, Administration on Children, Youth, and Families, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. ECTAC provides training and technical assistance to CNS-funded grantees engaged in early childhood education.
