Click on the link below to view the list of Upward Bound grantees that were randomly selected to participate in the evaluation of the Upward Bound Program, contingent upon their success in receiving funding under the fiscal year (FY)2007 competition. The results of the FY 2007 competition will be announced later this spring.

Upward Bound grantees that are NOT on the list may begin recruiting and selecting students to participate in the Upward Bound Program for the 2007-2008 project year with the understanding that their participation is contingent upon continued funding. As a reminder, all Upward Bound projects that receive funding in FY 2007 must follow the selection criteria contained in the notice of final priority published in the September 22, 2006, Federal Register when selecting new participants for the 2007-2008 project year.

Selected grantees have received notification of their selection. The contractor retained by the Department of Education to conduct the Upward Bound evaluation, Abt Associates, Inc., and its subcontractors, The Urban Institute and Berkeley Policy Associates, have begun contacting each of the selected grantees. Priority is being given to contacting and working with Upward Bound projects planning to start their programs in June 2007.
