The Programs for Baccalaureate Degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Critical Foreign Languages, with Concurrent Teacher Certification (TCT-B) is a discretionary grant program that was authorized by the America Competes Act in August of 2007.
Program requirements: Grantees are required to:
Priority: Priority will be given to applicants whose primary focus is placing participants in high-need local education agencies.
The Programs for Masters Degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Critical Foreign Languages (TCT-M) is a discretionary grant program that was authorized by the America Competes Act in August of 2007.
Program requirements: Grantees are required to:
Period of Grant: Not to exceed five years.
Matching Requirement: Each eligible recipient that receives a grant under this part shall provide, from non-Federal sources, an amount equal to 50 percent of the amount of the grant (which may be provided in cash or in kind) to carry out the activities supported by the grant.
Supplement Not Supplant Provision: Grant funds provided under this part shall be used to supplement, and not supplant, other Federal or State funds.
