IMPLEMENTATION STUDIES: YEAR ONE (SY 2006-07)
Striving Readers projects, under the authorship of independent evaluators, submitted year-one (SY2006-07) implementation studies to ED September 2008.
The implementation studies
- Describe the school context
- Provide logic models for literacy interventions
- Ask and answer implementation research questions
- Summarize the implementation level attained in year one
- Characterize the counterfactual
- Discuss selected implications from year one implementation
IMPACT STUDIES: YEARS 1 AND 2 (SY 2006-07 AND SY 2007-08)
Striving Readers projects, under the authorship of independent evaluators, submitted impact studies for years 1 and 2 to ED July 2009.
The impact studies
- Include information contained in the year 1 implementation study
- Summarize the fidelity of implementation level attained in years 1 and 2
- Ask and answer research questions about the impact of the targeted interventions for struggling readers on students exposed to one year of the intervention
- Ask and answer research questions about the impact of the targeted interventions for struggling readers on various subgroups of students
- Provide the evaluation designs for the analysis of the impacts for all readers (whole school intervention)
