Tips and Assistance
Developing a successful proposal for the International Research and Studies program starts first by seeing whether or not your proposed idea fits the parameters of the guidelines listed on this Web site. Please see Section 605 of the authorizing statute to see what activities are authorized for this program. Please note that "training" is not an allowable activity.
We also recommend that you make sure that the International Research and Studies program is the right grant program for what you intend to develop. You can do this by going to the International Research and Studies Award Abstracts. Second, read carefully the latest version of the International Research and Studies guidelines and application materials. Third, call the International Research and Studies program officer. You can discuss your idea with the program officer at any stage of proposal development.
